Week 23-25

The last two weeks have been used to try and polish my game as much as possible before the final submission.  As well I have been using this time to write up my honours report, with the Implementation section being worked on currently.  I currently have around 1500 words (4 pages) written so far, and plan to write much more for other objects that I have created for the game.

Week 15-22

Over the last few months, my project has moved forward significantly, with the Raycasting being completed, level completed, main menu completed and enemy A.I completed.  All that needs to be completed is the objective to work, enemy model and animation to be completed and the doors to the silo to work

Week 13-14

The last few weeks I have been quite productive.  So far I have been adding in the fundamental groundwork for my game, such as collectible items, a muzzle animation for my gun and starting Ray casting for both the character and the enemy.  The following week will be spent polishing this groundwork off to make it run correctly and possibly adding more advanced features into the game, to make it feel easier to play.

Week 10-12

In the last few weeks I have made progress with the overall construction and implementation of my project.  So far I have added in a basic level design, started work on some of the models I need to implement, added some ambient sounds and started work on the code.

For next week, I will get my silo completed and ready for implementation and hopefully full collision detection on my character

Week 7-10

Though I have not been updating my blog every week, I have been working on my project thoroughly.  I am currently creating the level for which the game, which is following the design I have created and documented in my Design section of my Honours Project documentation. I am almost at the stage where my design documentation is complete and once it is, I will move onto the implementation stage of my documentation.
